Epsom Salt Bath

The Epsom salt bath is useful for treating infections like cold, kidney disorders, skin affections and catarrh. For Epsom salt bath the following procedure is used. First bathtub should be filled with 135 liters of hot water at 40 degree Celsius. Then one and half kg of Epsom salt is dissolved in this water. Before talking this bath the patient should drink one glass of water, must cover head with cold towel and the lie in the tub, completely impressing the body, legs and hands for 20 minutes. The best time to take this path is just before going to bed.

Make a mixture of chamomile, peppermint, caraway seeds, and angelica. Now pour 1 tea spoon of the mixture into one cup of hot water. Stir the mixture well for ten minutes.
