It helps in detoxification of the body, breathing disorders and heart diseases. It is good for health and it is advised to add this to your food once a week. It also helps in fighting against depression and you can give to person with depression to get them out of it. It maintains the skin health.

Among other non-vegetarian foods fish is good for health. Fish is easily available at most of places. It is cheap when compared to other meats. It has many medical functions. It has less fat and helps in preventing heart diseases. It has vitamin e which acts as anti-oxidant agent. It reduces the risk of cancer and prevents the most dangerous diseases stroke. It helps in increasing memory and hence it helps your children memory. More over it is rich in taste and easy to digest. Even old people can chew it easily. Only thing is that we must aware of fish bones while eating it, because it may stick into mouth and causes bleeding. Fish is preserved and used for medicine preparation. Cereals and Pulses both are very essential for our health. They are rich in minerals and vitamins. The nutrients provided by pulses are vitamin B and iron. Cereals supply energy as starch. By eating fruits and vegetables we can get healthy supplements, but don’t restrict intake of cereals and pulses as they are rich of the above nutrients. Calories produced by pulses are same as cereals in which 360 k cal per 100 gm with dry proteins. Pulses have a protein content of about 25% to 35% which is almost twice that of cereals. Pulses are the dietary controller. Pulses prevent coronary heart disease. Therefore, both the grains are needed for healthier life.
